This year we were all home together for Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Who knew you could still see flora and fauna in the middle of winter?
After the Botanical Gardens, we went to downtown Bellevue to see a toy solder parade. Toy drummers lined the busy streets on podiums and played their dums to the sounds of Christmas music. Other festive entertainers handed out popcorn and candy canes while fake snow fell from the sky. It was a great way to spend the night before Christmas!
Santa was sure generous this year!! Jamie and Brandon got a Kitchen Aid, TJ got a GPS system, Mandy got a laptop, and Sean got a Wii. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
CLASSIC!!
Mom and Dad were good to themselves too!! They got new window blinds and a roof!!
These elaborate gifts were brought to you by... Dad's overtime!!
...And our sponsors this hour is the Flowbie and Brute Cologne.
A few days after Christmas, Sean got his Patriarchal blessing. We were all together as a family to enjoy the special moment, and afterwards celebrate at Bahama Breeze!
Dad can do anything! Cook, sew, and build bathrooms and wood sheds all while giving Mom a back rub. What a guy! He is truly the family hero.
Marilyn - Mama Nicholes
Mom is the social butterfly of the family, while Dad does the behind the scenes work. If anyone is looking for Christmas gift ideas, she could always use more "pretties". Oh what money can buy!
Brandon and Jamie
Brandon and Jamie currently reside in the land of the one-uppers and, according to Forbes Magazine, America's Vainest City--Salt Lake City, Utah. Instead of having kids, they currently have saltwater fish as pets!
TJ - Sleezy T
TJ enjoys making balloon animals, playing with the rubix cube, and writing rap songs with his buddies. He is everyone's favorite comedian!
Mandy - Short Bus
Even though her school days began on a short bus, Mandy is really quite brilliant! Not only does she teach the human anatomy lab at BYU, but she also decorates cakes, laughs a lot, and chases boys.
Sean - AKA Pongo
One-of-a-kind Sean has come a long way from playing puppies with Dad to working like a man at Car Quest in Kent, WA. Sean enjoys learning Asian languages, playing the piano, pestering the family bird, getting straight A's, and playing with his best friend, Cody.
